ETHICS AND EDITORIAL STANDARDS
How Philifoth handles sourcing, summaries, corrections, conflicts, and AI-assisted workflows.
Source transparency
Source-linked briefings name and link to the original publisher. They are not presented as original Philifoth reporting. Authors, image credits, and publication dates are preserved when reliable data is available.
Verification and context
Automated ingestion does not turn an external claim into a verified fact. Material is classified, checked for obvious artifacts, and presented with its source so readers can assess the underlying report.
Corrections
Material errors should be reported through the contact page. Confirmed corrections are made promptly and significant changes are identified with an updated timestamp or correction note.
AI-assisted processing
Software may help classify, summarize, format, or detect duplicate stories. It must not invent quotations, reporting, people, credentials, locations, or evidence. Human review is required for sensitive editorial promotion.
Conflicts and commercial content
Advertising and sponsorship are separated from editorial selection. Paid material must be labelled clearly, and commercial relationships do not guarantee favorable coverage.
Privacy and harm
Philifoth aims to avoid unnecessary personal data, graphic material, discriminatory framing, and publication that creates disproportionate harm without public-interest justification.
